The North West has some of the best race days in the country. The Grand National meeting at Aintree and the May Festival at Chester are right on our doorstep, and plenty of our customers make the trip to Haydock, Cheltenham or Royal Ascot too.
Each course has its own feel. Most enclosures at Aintree and Chester simply ask for smart dress, so a well-cut lounge suit or a tweed three-piece is spot on. The Royal Enclosure at Ascot is a different matter: gentlemen must wear black or grey morning dress with a waistcoat, a tie and a black or grey top hat.

Book a fitting two or three weeks before the meeting and we will do the rest.
Each enclosure has its own dress code. We’ll make sure you’re dressed for the one you’re in.

Aintree asks racegoers to dress smartly. A suit, shirt and tie or a tweed three-piece works well, and a patterned waistcoat adds a bit of colour for Ladies’ Day.
Only in the Royal Enclosure, where black or grey morning dress with a top hat is required. The Queen Anne Enclosure asks gentlemen to wear a suit and tie.
Chester asks for smart dress in its enclosures. A lounge suit or tweed with a tie is ideal, and it’s a good excuse for a bolder waistcoat.
