Who we are

Larry Adams Menswear, 7a Banks Road, West Kirby, Wirral CH48 0QX, is responsible for the personal information you give us through this website, in our shop and over the phone. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact us at sales@larryadams.co.uk or on 0151 625 9424.

What we collect

We only collect what we need to look after you. That can include:

• Contact details: your name, email address, phone number and delivery or billing address.
• Order details: what you’ve bought or hired, sizes, and any names or initials for embroidery or name labels.
• Enquiries and fittings: what you tell us when you send an enquiry or ask for a fitting, such as your event date and the number of people in your party.
• Account details: if you create an account, your login and order history.
• Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.
• Website use: basic technical information such as your browser and device, and, only if you allow it, how you use the site. See our cookie policy.

We also take names, addresses and phone numbers when you book or order with us by phone or in the shop.

How we use it

• To process, deliver and support your orders, hires and exchanges. We need to do this to fulfil our contract with you.
• To reply to enquiries and arrange fittings, because you’ve asked us to.
• To keep records we have to keep by law, such as sales and VAT records.
• To send you our newsletter, only if you’ve signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
• To look after the website, keep it secure and, with your permission, understand how it’s used so we can improve it.

We don’t sell, trade or rent your personal information, and we don’t use it for any purpose other than those above.

Payments

Card payments are processed by our payment provider. Your card details go straight to them securely and aren’t stored on our website or seen by us.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with companies that help us run the business, and only what they need. This includes our payment provider, delivery couriers, our website hosting provider and our email service. Each of them must keep your information secure and can only use it to provide their service to us. If you allow analytics cookies, Google provides our website statistics.

We’ll also share information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep order and payment records for six years, as required for tax purposes. Enquiries that don’t lead to an order are deleted after two years. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. If you have an account, we keep it until you ask us to close it.

Keeping it safe

The website uses a secure (SSL) connection, and access to customer information is limited to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, but we take sensible steps to protect your information.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
• ask us to correct anything that’s wrong
• ask us to delete your information, where we don’t need to keep it by law
• object to, or ask us to limit, how we use it
• withdraw your consent at any time, for example by unsubscribing or changing your cookie settings

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

We sell school uniform, but orders must be placed by a parent, guardian or other adult. Names given for embroidery or labels are used only to make that item.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
