Here at Larry Adams Menswear we’ve been providing uniform for over 35 years. We stock every item of Pensby High School uniform you may need: blazers, school shirts, trousers, skirts and ties. If you need it, we can supply it.

What your child needs

Uniform

Everyday

Full uniform to and from school, on trips and at parents’ evenings.

  • White shirt, long or short sleeved, tucked in with top button fastened
  • School tie, worn to the collar and reaching the waistband
  • Black blazer with embroidered logo, worn at all times
  • Black V-neck sweater (optional), plain with no logos
  • Black smart business trousers (not skinny)
  • Black knee-length skirt, box pleat or pencil (not stretch)
  • Black dress shoes you can polish (no trainers, canvas or branded shoes)
  • Black socks or tights

PE kit

Compulsory

Required for all PE lessons.

  • Navy/pale blue sports shirt
  • Navy/pale blue shorts or skorts
  • Navy/pale blue socks
  • Training shoes (no leisure boots or high-fashion trainers)
  • Football boots
  • Shin pads
  • Gum shield

PE kit

Optional
  • Navy blue tracksuit bottoms
  • Navy/pale blue sweatshirt
  • Navy/pale blue waterproof top
  • Sports bag

Please label everything

All uniform must be clearly marked with the owner’s name, including outdoor coats. Hoodies must not be worn under blazers, and hoodies or hats aren’t allowed.

Uniform policy

Coats

A proper outdoor coat should be worn as appropriate. Short ‘fashion’ coats, denim jackets, tracksuit or jogging tops and leather or suede coats aren’t appropriate. The school has no cloakroom, so coats are usually carried in bags.

What must be bought from us

All items can be bought from generic suppliers except the blazer, tie and PE shirt/shorts, which carry the school logo. Other items are optional.
